Have you ever had a lucid dream? Describe your experience.

Posted on Oct 6th, 2007 by Sigung Hikari : I Am . . . Sigung Hikari
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 06, 2007:

I have had several at various times of my life.. they always seem to occur or happen most often when things are about to or need to change for me to grow.  One of the most vivid I recall was about a year after the Matrix trilogy ended.
I was at work in NYC and there was something similar to a 9-11 attack and I recall standing at my office window looking at a huge mushroom cloud and feeling intense fear but then caught myself and  started saying out loud, "This is a dream. . . I am in control here!"  At which time I dove through the window and flew to the site of the explosion and commanded time to reverse. . .  I then sought the cause of the attack and altered them by flooding them with love in the form of a gold light so that only peace filled their hearts.
I then flew back home and cooked dinner and went to bed knowing that I was still dreaming but I was master of the world I was creating.

So when I awoke, I had this unexplainable feeling of empowerment.
I know that I had had a lucid dream the night before but some how I brought some of the "power" with me from the subconscious realm to the conscious.

I went through my day empowered and totally free.
I would catch myself focusing on negative things and would remind myself that I am creating my reality and I shifted my focus and the experience changed as well....
It was INCREDIBLE!!

If you could 'uninvent' something, what would it be?

Posted on Oct 21st, 2007 by Sigung Hikari : I Am . . . Sigung Hikari
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 21, 2007:

Well now, if I could uninvent something it would have to be something that would influence some of the other things I would uninvent. . .
So based on that I would uninvent the devil - The whole concept of Satan, Lucifer, the devil, evil, sin,. . .
Many a people have been killed because they were seen through the looking glass of "us" and "them."

The sinner and the saint
The clean and unclean
The righteous and unrighteous
The educated and the savage
The have and have nots

If the only concept that existed was "love". . . how different would things be.
No war
No World hunger
No thoughts of Lack and Scarcity
We would not judge or condemn
No more fear tactics about heaven and hell

I would uninvent the concept of the devil and all that concept represents

What one thing do you feel you're an expert in?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 20, 2007:

Many of my friends and family would say I am an expert Teacher, Performer, Interpreter, Martial artist, Actor, Artist. . . .
I would say I am an expert student.
I enjoy the process of being a student-  to read, to learn, to observe, to question.
The more I learn the more I realize the less I know (lyric from the movie Yentel)
How true that is. . .
Ever always a beginner.
Keeping my cup empty and ready for more. . .
That is where my mastery currently resides.

If you were given $1,000, how would you spend it?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 19, 2007:

A 1,000 today would be spent on two things. . .
1. A grave marker for my father's grave.
2. XBox 360 for my mentee.

Now if we talking a million. . .  that's a different story (SMILE)

What emotion do you struggle the most with?

Posted on Oct 21st, 2007 by Sigung Hikari : I Am . . . Sigung Hikari
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 16, 2007:

The emotion I most struggle with is fear. . .
Fear of rejection being the most dominant I believe followed by fear of failure as a close second.
At times my old mental habits resurface for a time: scarcity thinking, low self esteem, self hatred, reactive versus proactive. . .

What's been your path in life?

Posted on Oct 21st, 2007 by Sigung Hikari : I Am . . . Sigung Hikari
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 15, 2007:

My path in life has been that of wandering monk. . .
The seeker who transforms.
Similar to Luke Skywalker or Caine from the old Kung Fu TV series.
I have been seeking and learning and growing.
Stepping into the fullness of what I am.
The peaceful warrior wandering the lands bringing light where there is darkness, peace where there is war, calm to confusion, and love to all. . .
Teaching others to Live, Laugh and Love
That is what I consider to be my path.

What's your relationship to your body like?

Posted on Oct 21st, 2007 by Sigung Hikari : I Am . . . Sigung Hikari
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 17, 2007:

Growing up I considered my body weak and spent lots of time fearful of illness disease and death.
I spent lots of time exercising and developing my martial arts skills while still feeling somehow weak or inferior physically even though I knew at that time my body temple was superb and perfect naturally.
As I grew older, I began to recognize the inherant beauty of it, the perfection of it and I grew into deeper comfort of my body. . . many of the insecurities and phobias that I had in my youth either vanished or lost much of thier influence in my life.
Now as I have gained a few extra pounds for an acting role a while back (and have yet to lose the weight), have had knee surgery to replace a damaged ACL, surgery to remove a tumor from my finger which left my finger in a partially bent configuration. . .I have come to a place of greater love and respect for my body and yet I also see the importance of getting it into greater health.
I am much more sensitive to my body and I know more of what it wants and needs and how it communicates to me and I work to maintain the temple.

What do you need to change the most in your life?

Posted on Oct 23rd, 2007 by Sigung Hikari : I Am . . . Sigung Hikari
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 22, 2007:

WOW.. Amazing that Spirit brought this question before me yet again. . . this has been something I have been contemplating quite often as of late.

I most need to change my way of thinking.
Over the years I have done quite a bit of changing and yet to get where I want to go, I know that I still have more to change, learn, do, be. . .

There are still days when I am consumed by scarcity thinking or victim consciousness and I know that it is all a process that I must journey through.

But that is the one thing I most "need" -- want to change in my life.
