This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 24, 2008:
Let's see.... two events stand in mind.
The first would have been while I was an art student and having witnessed a murder where a cousin (11 years old ) killed his mother's boyfriend. The confusion and drama that resulted from that split second event was traumatic and life changing BUT I learned a great deal about myself and my resilience and ability to forgive. . . .
the second would have been when I enrolled in a deaf education program despite an inner voice that told me I did not want to be teacher again. . . I began the semester and one thing after another happened until I finally left the program. It wasn't until I left the program that I found peace again. . . and then realized that I knew from the beginning that "I" was not supposed to be in that program.
