When was the last time you acted?

Posted on Sep 24th, 2008 by Sigung Hikari : I Am . . . Sigung Hikari
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for September 24, 2008:

The last time I acted in terms of professional acting would have been when I was in EVITA for Open Circle Theatre
http://www.talkinbroadway.com/regional/dc/dc246.html

I intend to act more and desire more opportunities to act on stage, film and tv.
So if you know of opportunities or are casting actors (smile).. let me know!
-----------------

Now in the more daily living there are many times where I "act as if..."
In order to walk the walk and talk the talk- there are times when I act as if in order to become the very thing I am sending my energy into.

The acting as if.. is focusing my thoughts and energy and as we know.. a thought held in consciousness produces after its own kind.

So there are moments daily when I act.

The general facades that I once utilized and hid behind... seem to have faded away for the most part.  As a child I use to hide behind the masks daily.  I sought the safety the masks provided me.  I became so good at acting that I nearly became lost in the drama of my pretend world of defense.
-----------------

And finally there is the act part of ACTION...

Any time I am taking action .. I am acting.

I am in the act of studying, teaching, performing, ministering.. etc..

What is hanging in the balance?

Posted on Sep 24th, 2008 by Sigung Hikari : I Am . . . Sigung Hikari
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for September 22, 2008:

The very act of walking involves balancing your body so that you do not fall. . .
Life is full of times when balance is take for granted.
I learned early through my martial art studies the importance of balance.
Physical balance
Mental balance
Emotional balance
Spiritual balance

In our fast paced world it is easy to lose balance in life and unless it is a major fall like one would experience physically, we often never even notice the loss of balance!

How many of us have lost balance in our relationships?
We are either overpowering another or suffering as the victim.
Passive aggressive behavior is a loss of balance as is road rage.
Any loss of control or fear is also a loss of balance.

In my own life. . . there are times when I juggle the many balls of life
Work
Performing
Art
School and studies
Gym
etc. . .
However there are more times that I have learned that I am balanced at my core.
I need not look for balance.
I AM Balance I AM!
My spirit is balanced and when I trust that power. . . all things work perfectly and calmly.

In conversations with others, I notice the fear based loss of balance as they talk about politics, the economy, wars, etc... and always there is talk of how fragile things are and out of whack, out of balance. . .when in reality no such thing exists.

If all is God and god is all. . . then God being balance can be only balance.
it is our belief in the illusion that causes us to act in out of balanced ways.

When the illusion is broken. . . we will rest in the truth that all is in balance and in harmony!

Where are you right now?

Posted on Sep 25th, 2008 by Sigung Hikari : I Am . . . Sigung Hikari
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for September 19, 2008:

Often times I find myself asking.. where am I?
Not long after I ask.. I remember that I am everywhere.
As infinite as God is.. I AM.

Physically I am sitting on a chair in my bedroom at home, in MD, in the USA, on Earth. . .
Psychologically?

Hmmm???

Right now in an interesting intellectual place as I contemplate several recent questions by friends and coaching clients related to Sex, sexuality, porn, art, love, relationships, . . .and spirituality.
Emotionally?
I am feeling relatively balanced right now.
Have some interesting things going on inside as the birthday of my father approaches and then the anniversary of his transition.

Right now.. I am right where I am meant to be!

What is the oldest you've ever felt?

Posted on Sep 25th, 2008 by Sigung Hikari : I Am . . . Sigung Hikari
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for September 16, 2008:

When have you felt the most old or wise?
I equate wisdom with understanding, being "old" is something different.
Being or feeling old is an illusion that we have based on what age means and the progression of age leading to what we call death.

I have met very wise children and foolish senior citizens.

Personally, I have felt old when I use to suffer through the experience of depression and self hatred.
I have felt the most wise now. . .
When I really sit and look at my life and where I am .. I realize that I am now more wise than ever before.

What was the most responsibility you've had to take on?
Teaching in a public school possibly... caring for my son Kenny, taking care of my father, assisting my mother. . .
My biggest responsibility is the one I have NOW.
Being the change...
Being the I AM
Being in the Now

Was there an event in your life, or an occasion, that caused you to feel older beyond your years? What was it?
As I said the years of depression and self hatred.  From the ages of 12-30

What have you learned about healing?

Posted on Sep 25th, 2008 by Sigung Hikari : I Am . . . Sigung Hikari
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for September 11, 2008:

I have learned that healing is not about changing something from illness to health or dis-ease to ease. . .
Healing is about remembering who and what you are!

Suppose there is a man who is a billionaire. . .
One day he is in a accident and loses his memory.
He wonders around as a homeless poor man.
Would I need to help him gain money?
Help him learn the difference between poverty consciousness and prosperity thinking?
No.
What I would do is treat his lack of remembrance.
Once I help him remember who and what he is... the abundance is his again

It is the same for all else that we think, believe, want.

Someone has cancer.... affirm that they are healthy.
The body is experiencing an illness but that which is the I AM of the person can never be ill.
Affirm and know that.
As the healer, we must know it for the person first.
We cannot pity, feel sorry for, or play into the illusion. . .if we do, then health is a distant concept that cannot come to the person.

Often times we feel separate from God
We believe that we are our bodies and so when the body suffers.. we believe that we suffer.
Once we remember the essence of what and who we are and that health is already here not something that must be sought after, obtained, worked for. . . then our body will return to health (if that is what is meant).
There is also the lesson the soul chooses to learn before incarnating into human form.
The illness is a lesson to aid on the journey of evolution.
Do not cure it.
Bless it.
Love it.
and let it go. . .
Return to Love!

What did you believe as a child?

Lynda-carter---wonder-woman-photograph-c10101726

I believed that I could become a superhero and save the world like Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, the Silver Surfer, the Phoenix. . .
by the way I also believed that I could block bullets like Wonder Woman LMAO. . . FUNNY

I believed in miracles like rainbows, twinkling stars on a clear night, playful dogs, children's laughter, snow flurries, cool breeze. . .

I believed in magic.  that there was a secret to having, being, doing anything I wanted. . .

I also believed that I was unworthy of being loved.
I was horrible and evil and going to hell.
I would be broke, die alone and lonely.
And that I would never really be happy!

So here we are now. . .
And I believe that I am a kind of superhero here to play my part in transforming the world.
I believe in the magic and miracles of nature like rainbows, twinkling stars on a clear night, playful dogs, children's laughter, snow flurries, cool breeze. . .

I believe that there is magic (what Wayne Dyer calls REAL MAGIC) and that I have the secret!

And lastly I believe that I am worthy of love and am love
I am a wonderfully made child of God and I AM made in the image and likeness of my Father/Mother God.
I am prosperous and abundant NOW.
I am never alone for God is with me as are you now as you read this. . . and that we all breathe the same air and are of the same spirit and are always One in it!

I am happy now!
I am grateful now!

That's what I believe. . .
